Node.js Introduction

In this section, we provide everything you need to begin building Node.js applications that interact with Redis. We assume you are using a modern version of Node.js that supports async/await such as Node 8.x or higher. See my guide on Upgrading to more recent versions of Node.js on the Raspberry Pi for more information on upgrading Node.js. The upgrade instructions apply equally well to other Debian-based Linux distributions.
